Old Ladder 1
old_ladder_1_drop.jpg
Old Ladder 1 is a 1948 Peter Pirsch 65' Aerial Ladder truck. This truck served the city of Quincy for many years until it was taken out of service when a new ladder truck was purchased.  It was then purchased by the Duxbury Call Fire Department, completely overhauled, and sold to the Town for $ 1.00.  It was taken out of service again in 1976 when our 1976 Mack aerial ladder truck was delivered.

See his truck in action at the Brant Rock Fire in 1973.
