Open burning of brush will start on January 15th and end on May 1st. Permits will be available at the Central Fire Station located at 668 Tremont Street starting on January 2nd. Permits can be purchased for $10.00 from 8am-4pm Monday through Friday. Starting on January 3rd, permits can be purchased on Saturday and Sunday from 9am-2pm. Only checks will be accepted for the purchase of burn permits. NO CASH will be accepted.
We encourage residents to complete their burning early in the season while there is snow on the ground.
