Duxbury Youth Commission was formed through a Town Meeting vote and in that process it was done so by “accepting the provisions of the M.G. laws, Chapter 40; Section 8 E, to establish a Youth Commission.” It is a Town-government established Board. While the Duxbury Youth Commission has been inactive for some time, dissolving it is complicated. See Attached discussion from Selectmen’s meeting on January 4, 2010, page 5 & 6.
