Special Events

Rules & Regulations Governing the Use of the Town Green:
Any person or group seeking to utilize the Town Green for any purpose, other than semiactive passive recreation, shall apply to the Duxbury Board of Selectmen for a permit for such use.

Application for the Use of the Town Green for Use During a Special Event:
Such application for a permit should be filed more than twenty-one (21) days prior to the proposed event and shall include a written description of the event, length of time of the event, and how the applicant plans to manage the special event traffic, parking and noise.

One-Day Liquor License Application:
Not required for private property when liquor is not being sold.  Otherwise, a one-day liquor license application must be submitted, at least 30-days prior, to any event where liquor is to be served that does not have a liquor license.
