Wood Gathering Permit

RULES AND REGULATIONS:                                    

• Wood gathering program is for residential uses only.
• Only cutting and gathering of dead wood is permitted.
• Each wood gathering group is restricted to a maximum of 6 family members.
• Each group is permitted to use only one chainsaw and any number of hand tools.
• Participants should wear safety equipment.
• Participants must sign indemnification and hold harmless agreement.
• Participants must pre-register and pre-pay by check or cash the $10 registration fee.
• Permit must be displayed while gathering is underway.
• Permit may be revoked by the Conservation Administrator for violation of any rule or regulation.

The application is attached. Bring your completed application and $10 cash or check to the Conservation Department to receive your permit.
