DUXBURY BEACH OPERATIONS

BEACH UPDATE – Tuesday, September 28, 2021

Hello sticker holders, hope this email finds you well and you are enjoying the fall season. Below please fine a few important reminders:

OCTOBER CROSSOVER HOURS:

Sunday through Thursday the crossovers will be open 8 AM to 4pm.

Friday and Saturday the crossovers we will be open 8 AM to 8 PM weather and tides permitting.

The resident parking lot is open seven days a week.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: The speed limit on the Powder Point Bridge is 10 MPH, please adhere to this.  The beach road speed limit is 15 MPH.

DOGS ON THE BEACH

Another reminder that all dogs/owners must have a current permit issued by the Town Clerk’s office to walk your dog on Duxbury Beach. Please keep you dog leashed at all times and keep them out of vegetation.

DID YOU KNOW?

Film production studios have used Duxbury Beach and the Powder Point Bridge as filming locations. Films that have featured the beach include:  The Way, Way Back,  Altar Rock, and The Finest Hours.
