Busy Shift on 10/21/17

A busy Saturday morning presented Duxbury Firefighters with multiple dynamic incidents. In the morning, companies were called to the Back River marsh (off of Pine Hill Avenue) for a dog stuck in the marsh. Wearing survival suits, two Duxbury Firefighters assisted the animal out of the mud. Later in the day, a box was struck for a reported building fire on Mayflower Street. On arrival, firefighters encountered a stove fire. The fire was quickly extinguished and the stove removed with minimal damage.
