MassDOT Rte 3A Work Scheduled
MassDOT will be conducting work in Duxbury starting on October 4, 2020.
Project Location (City/Town): Duxbury, Rte 3A, Two Sections, between House No. 280 Tremont St and Rte 3 SB, Ex 10, On & Off Ramps
Estimated Start Date of Work: The week of 10/04/2020
Project Type: D5 Various Location Pavement Repair Contract
Description of Work: The contractor will repair two sections of Rte 3A; 1st section from #280 Tremont to Flint Locke Dr (880 FT) and 2nd section from Woodridge Rd to Rte 3 SB, Ex 10, On & Off Ramps (1700 FT). The contractor will mill two inches of existing road surface, adjust drainage castings to finish grade, pave a new two inch road surface, and paint new traffic markings.

Hours of Operation (Day/Night): 8pm to5am, nights
Description of Traffic Management: The contractor will need to alternate the traffic around the work zone safety set up. The contractor will utilize advanced warning signs, traffic cones & drums, crash attenuators trucks, arrow boards and police details.
Estimated Duration of Work: 7 - 8 nights
