The Massachusetts Department of Housing & Community Development (DHCD) provides housing information, tools and grant funding to assist communities in providing safe housing, and provides assistance in planning for housing, vibrant downtown centers and long-term goals for community housing. The DHCD also assists people with finding housing assistance, rental assistance, emergency housing, and energy assistance. Information on state housing programs, including Chapter 40B, is available on the DHCD website. Duxbury is at 7.81% Subsidized Housing Inventory (SHI) through December 2020.
