File of Life

In the event of an emergency, a "File of Life" is a succinct medical history, which is kept in a red plastic sleeve with a magnetic strip. The magnetic sleeve is then placed on the refrigerator in a visible place.

The File of Life will be accessible to Police Officers, Firefighters, Emergency Medical Technicians, and Hospital Emergency Staff.

A File of Life can be obtained by calling the Community Services Department at ext. 5730 or 5731.
