Accessibility
The library welcomes all members of the community and seeks to provide a safe and inclusive space for all visitors, and upholds the rights of all individuals to use its facilities without fear of harassment or intimidation. The library makes decisions regarding our collection, programs, and policies that both promote a sense of belonging and embrace our uniqueness as individuals. Building Access
- We have elevator access on all levels with accessible parking located at both the campus and tennis court parking lot. Gender Inclusive Single private stall and multi-stall restrooms are located on each of the floors of our building. We have power access doors on the lower level and middle level with ramps.
- Only Service Animals are allowed in the library in accordance with the applicable requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act and Massachusetts General Laws, Ch. 272, Sec. 98A. Other animals are not allowed. Please see our Use of the Library Policy for more information.

Services
Homebound Service
- The Duxbury Free Library now offers delivery to patrons who are unable to leave their homes due to illness, disabilities, physical capabilities, or injury. Books and other library materials will be dropped off and picked up from residencies in town by a librarian. With this program, you can have full access to Duxbury Free Library materials!
- A librarian will choose books (or other media) for you based on your indicated preferred genre; this information will be collected during a brief phone interview at the start of enrollment. If you would prefer to request specific books yourself, you can order the titles through our online catalog.

Perkins Braille & Talking Book Library
- The Perkins Braille & Talking Book Library (BTBL), funded in part by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, provides free services to Massachusetts residents of any age who are unable to read traditional print materials due to a visual or physical disability.
