Mass DOT - Rte 3A Work Scheduled

Municipality Work Notification Form

MassDOT will be conducting work in your community in the near future.  The following project information is being forwarded for distribution to appropriate Municipal Departments. 

Project Location (City/Town):  Duxbury, Rte 3A, Rte 3 SB, Ex 10, On & Off Ramps

Estimated Start Date of Work:  11/08/2020

Project Type:  D5 Various Location Pavement Repair Contract

Description of Work:  The contractor will repair Rte 3A; from Woodridge Rd to Rte 3 SB, Ex 10, On & Off Ramps. The contractor will adjust drainage castings to finish grade, mill two inches of existing road surface, pave a new two inch road surface, and paint new traffic markings.

Hours of Operation (Day/Night):  8pm to 5am, nights

Description of Traffic Management: The contractor will need to alternate the traffic around the work zone safety set up. The contractor will utilize advanced warning signs, traffic cones & drums, crash attenuators trucks, arrow boards and police details.  

Estimated Duration of Work:  7 - 8 nights
