The Percy Walker Pool at 175 Saint George Street

DECEMBER 3, 2020
The Duxbury Board of Health received notification on December 3, 2020 from the Recreation Director that an individual who was at the Percy Walker Pool had tested positive for COVID -19. The facility closed upon receiving this information and will remain closed while performing a required thorough deep cleaning and disinfecting in accordance with current CDC guidelines before re-opening on but not before Monday December 7th, 2020.
The individual was known to be at the Percy Walker Pool Monday November 30th, Tuesday December 1st and Wednesday December 2nd.
The Duxbury Recreation Department/ Percy Walker Pool and Board of Health are following State protocol and have already notified ALL persons deemed to be a close contact of this individual that tested positive. If you have any concerns, as always, contact your primary care provider for advice on getting tested.
