Hello Beach Patron, 

We are sending you this email to give you the most up to date information regarding the status of the crossovers.
 

Please follow our Twitter account @BeachDuxbury to obtain the most up to date information throughout the weekend about space availability at the crossovers.

 

Oversand Status
As of Friday, August 19, 2022 at 2:00pm, the plan for the weekend will be as follows:

Crossover #2 will be open to approximately 100 vehicles, and Crossover #3 will be open to approximately 60 vehicles.  The crossovers will be open 8am-8pm. 

IMPORTANT:  AT CROSSOVER #3, DUE TO VERY SOFT SAND AND PEA STONE, ONLY 4WD VEHICLES WILL BE ALLOWED.  ALSO, PLEASE MAKE SURE TO AIR DOWN YOUR TIRES.

 

We anticipate a very busy weekend and appreciate your cooperation in adhering to all signage, fencing, cones and directives from Beach Rangers and Bird Monitors.
 

Thank you to the Duxbury Beach Reservation for continuing to monitor the situation and keeping us updated in a very timely fashion. As things change, we will do our best to maximize vehicle access for sticker holders on the beach.
