DUXBURY BEACH OPERATIONS

BEACH UPDATE – 12/1/22
 

Hello Duxbury Beach Patron.  Below please find important information:

 

RESIDENT LOT AND CROSSOVERS

The lot is open seven days a week. The crossovers are open 8-3:30 daily, weather and tides permitting.  A valid permit is required year-round to access the over-sand area.

SNOWY OWLS

We are fast approaching the season when our visitors from the north will be arriving. Please make sure you follow all rules and regulations pertaining to these awesome guests.  Do not traverse dunes or vegetation in an attempt to see them. We ask that you stay in and/or very close to your vehicle to take your pictures. Never approach a bird or try to make it fly, they are resting and need to be left alone.

Rangers will be on patrol to ensure folks are in compliance. Tickets will be issued for violations and vehicles parked on the property must have a valid permit.

PORTA POTTIES

As of December 1st the porta-potties have been removed from the beach. 

As always, we appreciate your continued cooperation in adhering to all signage and directives from Beach Rangers.  A reminder to please deposit all trash in the receptacles located in the parking lot.
