How can I purchase Duxbury Beach/Transfer Station Stickers?

Starting in 2018 Town of Duxbury beach stickers (resident/non-resident) and transfer stickers may be purchased online at https://DuxburyStickers.CityHallSystems.com. You may also purchase Town of Duxbury stickers by calling City Hall Systems at (508) 381-5456 or by visiting the Duxbury Town Hall. You can pay for your stickers on the website or by phone with a VISA, Mastercard, Discover or American Express credit card or a debit card. Cash and check are only accepted at Town Hall.

Who can apply for a Duxbury Beach/Transfer Station Sticker?

Duxbury resident beach and transfer station stickers will only be issued to vehicles registered to a Duxbury property owner/taxpayer (excluding land-only property) or a qualifying renter. If the vehicle registration is not registered to a Duxbury address, the resident must provide a valid Duxbury property tax bill, lease/rental agreement or adequate verification from landlord to qualify to purchase resident stickers. Lease/rental agreements must indicate yearly rental to qualify.

Qualifying residents have the option of applying for a Beach Parking Lot sticker or a Beach Oversand sticker (limit of 3 total stickers per household). Certain vehicles may not qualify to purchase stickers online. For questions regarding vehicle eligibility online, please call City Hall Systems at (508) 381-5456.

Non-residents who do not meet the qualifications outlined above may apply for a Non-Resident Oversand sticker only (limit 1 per household).

 

What is the process to get stickers online?

Once registering, log-in with your username and password and fill out the online sticker application with all the required information. You will receive an email notification that your order has been received after you submit your completed application. Your order will then be processed and upon verification of your information, you will receive another email notifying you that your order has been successfully processed and your stickers have been mailed. Stickers will usually be mailed within a week of receipt of your application. If there are any questions regarding your information, we will contact you. What if my address is not available for selection on the website?

If your address is missing from the drop down menu please contact City Hall Systems at (508) 381- 5456 so it can be added. This is not unusual if there are multiple addresses sharing one parcel ID.

 

What is the process of buying my stickers by phone?

Call City Hall Systems at (508) 381-5456 and provide any required information to them. Once your information has been obtained and successfully processed, your stickers will be mailed to you.

Can I use the Duxbury Transfer Station if I do not have a Transfer Station Sticker?

No.

 

Can a Duxbury business use the Duxbury Transfer Station?

No.

 

Do I qualify for senior status?

If you are a resident of Duxbury and are 62 years old or older when ordering, you qualify for the senior discounted pricing applicable to certain listed items. Please note that senior status pricing will only apply to cars registered to the person claiming senior status.

 

Where do I place my sticker on my car?

All stickers are required to be permanently affixed to the inside of your car window with the adhesive supplied on the sticker. Transfer Station stickers are to be affixed on the bottom left corner of the windshield. Beach stickers are to be affixed below the mirror, never in tint. Stickers taped to a window are not valid. Stickers are non-transferable.

 

When is the Duxbury Transfer Station open?

The Transfer Station will be open on Wednesday through Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It will also close for the following holidays: January 1st, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President's Day, Patriots' Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day & the day after, and Christmas Day. Off-hour access is prohibited without the authorization of the Director of Public Works.

  • East End Parking Lot, North Resident Lot: May-Aug: 8AM-Sunset. Sept-Apr: 9AM -Sunset
  • East End Parking Lot, Resident South Lot: May-Aug: 6AM -11PM. Sept-Apr: 6AM -Sunset

Off Road Vehicle Hours:

  • Memorial Day Weekend-Labor Day Weekend: Crossover 1&2 open (bird dependent) Sun-Thurs 8AM-10PM, Fri-Sat 8AM-11PM (holiday Sundays/holidays)
  • Tuesday after Labor Day-Sept 30: Crossover 1&2 open (bird dependent) 8:30AM-9PM

What do I do if I need a replacement sticker?

Replacement stickers can be obtained at the Town Hall. There is a charge of $10 for each replacement sticker so long as you return the original sticker at the time of the replacement request.

 If you are not able to return the original, the replacement is treated as a new purchase.
