NOTICE TO DUXBURY WATER USERS REGARDING
HYDRANT FLUSHING

The Duxbury Water Department has commenced annual flushing of the water distribution system’s High Pressure Zone (northwest section of Town) on Monday May 13, 2024. Flushing activities will continue for several weeks. This work will be done during the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Additional updates will be posted on the Water Department website and a message board at the Tarkiln Community Center.

This activity will cause varying degrees of discolored water and pressure fluctuations. Water users should check both hot and cold water before use, especially for laundering purposes.
