DUXBURY BEACH OPERATIONS
BEACH UPDATE – 5/30/23
Hello Beach patron,
We hope this email finds you and your family well. As we start to reach our peak season, please be on the lookout for weekly beach emails. Below are a few important topics and updates.
BEACH HOURS AND CROSSOVER ACCESS
Tuesday, May 30 – Thursday, June 1: 9:00am-8:00pm
Access: Crossover 1 & 2 CLOSED. Crossover 3 ONLY—122 vehicle capacity (61 permitted residents and 61 permitted non-residents)
Friday, June 2– Saturday, June 3: 8:00am-8:00pm
Access: Crossover 1 & 2 CLOSED. Crossover 3 ONLY— 36 vehicle capacity (18 permitted residents and 18 permitted non-residents)
Sunday, June 4 — ALL CROSSOVERS, CUT-OUTS, AND BACK ROAD ACCESS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE (Resident lot and non-resident over-flow lot will be open during beach hours)
IMPORTANT REMINDER: Duxbury Beach, including all parking lots are closed at 8pm, 7 days a week. The Duxbury Police Department will be patrolling these lots after 8pm.

RESTRICTED AREAS
Due to avian activity, Duxbury Beach Reservation has implemented multiple restricted areas. Vehicles are not allowed to be driven through restricted areas. Dogs are NOT allowed within the restricted area.
DOGS ON BEACH
For those permit holders who are planning on bringing their dog to the beach, please remember these important reminders:
Dogs are allowed on the bayside beach (behind the guard shack), south of Powder Point Bridge. Owners can also walk their dogs on the access roads and in the parking lots. DOGS MUST BE LEASHED AT ALL TIMES.

Vandalism/ Suspicious activity
Please notify Duxbury Beach Operations and the Duxbury Police Department of any suspicious activity or vandalism at the beach.
