Hello Beach Patron, 

We are sending you this email to give you the most up to date information regarding the status of the crossovers.
 

Crossover #1
We were informed today by the Duxbury Beach Reservation that additional fledging has occurred, allowing Crossover #1 to be open for limited vehicles.  Our goal is to open Crossover #1 today, Friday, 8/12/2022 at approximately 3pm.  

Crossover #3
Crossover #3 remains open.  Due to fledging we are able to add additional spots.  Please adhere to all signage, fencing, cones and directives from Beach Rangers and stay within the allowed area.

IMPORTANT:  ONLY 4WD WILL BE ALLOWED AT BOTH CROSSOVER #1 & CROSSOVER #3 DUE TO VERY SOFT SAND AND PEA STONE. ALSO, PLEASE BE SURE TO AIR DOWN YOUR TIRES BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO DRIVE ON EITHER CROSSOVERS. 

Dogs
Dogs are allowed at both Crossover #1 and Crossover #3.  Dogs must be leashed at all times and have a dog walking permit tag on their collar.  CLICK HERE to obtain this permit from the Town Clerk’s office.
