Town Meeting 2019

Annual Town Meeting was March 9-11th 2019. 

Summary:

Medical Marijuana Treatment Centers - An overlay district.  To better understand the regulatory framework, please link to the following pages.  This does not apply to private use of prescribed or recreational marijuana - only to medical marijuana treatment facilities defined in the laws - PASSED.  AGO approved.

Demolition Delay - extended the 6-month delay to a 12-month delay and adds clarifying language to the timelines of the permitting process.  Separate article limits the demolition delay decision, once imposed, to 2 years, and allowing this decision to be transferable.  PASSED, AGO approved.

Scrivener's error setback in NB1 and NB2 - repairs a Scrivener's error in the NB1 and NB2 setbacks, restoring the setback to 10 feet (from the fall 2018 special town meeting warrant) - PASSED, AGO approved.
